🚩The Lorraine Motel, now the NCRMuseum hosted famous athletes and fervent activists in its heyday including Martin Luther King Jr., Jackie Robinson & Willie Mays. Interracial jam sessions by 🎶 Stax Records artists were held at the motel. Famous songs like Wilson Pickett’s “The Midnight Hour” and Eddie Floyd’s “Knock on Wood” were composed at the motel. The Lorraine is the site of “The Negro Motorist #GreenBook,” exhibition opening Oct. 3. Learn more about it at the link in bio!
