.@NASA’s OSIRIS-REx spacecraft just returned to Earth after seven years with a sample of rocks & dust from Bennu, a 4.5-billion-year-old asteroid! AMD FPGAs were used in the image collection and processing systems that were instrumental in the asteroid sample collection process and in the mapping system essential for navigation around Bennu.
