While we’re here, what’s up with that resting bear face? *Takes off ranger hat and sits down at desk.* Resting bear face is often a neutral or relaxed expression that may be misinterpreted by others as being unfriendly. It could also unintentionally convey a sense of disinterest, annoyance, or contempt, even when the bear may not be feeling that way at all. It’s important to note that resting bear face is not a reflection of a bears true emotions or personality. Until it is. If a bear’s expression is putting off “unapproachable” vibes, it’s not really a vibe. It’s a signal to back off. In fact, no matter the bear’s expression, don’t approach a bear at all.
