Classic arch-rival shenanigans.” - Captain Isaac Higgintoot Speaking of Hamilton, National Park Service Director Chuck Sams got some hands-on Hamilton history as he kicked off #NationalParkWeek with a tour of parks in Manhattan, including a stop at Hamilton Grange National Memorial, which preserves the home of Alexander Hamilton. (There were no arch-rival shenanigans.) Sams traveled from Washington, DC, to New York City by train along with volunteers from the Trails and Rails Program. The program is a partnership between the National Park Service and Amtrak that places volunteer guides on various train routes to provide passengers with stories and information about national parks and other attractions on the journey. While in New York, Sams also visited the General Grant National Memorial and the Lower East Side Tenement Museum National Historic Site...
