Nature’s UFOs… or fluffy stack of pancakes? 🥞
Don’t get saucy with us. These are clouds. Lenticular clouds to be more precise. These lens or saucer-shaped clouds typically form in mountainous areas where strong winds push moist air masses together. Unlike other clouds that are blown across the sky by the wind, lenticular clouds don’t move much, not because they’re lazy, but because they form as the air rises and dissolves as it descends. Science. They often appear singularly or stacked like pancakes. ‘Mmm, pancakes.
