It's #GreatAmericanOutdoorsDay! It's a great day to get, well, outdoors. Oh, it's hot where you are? It's raining? You don't like the outdoors? We have cool indoor spaces. It's like the outdoors only indoors. You'll have to go outdoors (just for a bit) to get to the indoors. You know what we mean. You just walked to the mailbox? Mailed it. Moving on, today we are commemorating the third anniversary of the #GreatAmericanOutdoorsAct (#GAOA), signed on August 4, 2020. The legislation established the National Parks & Public Lands Legacy Restoration Fund & guaranteed permanent funding for the Land & Water Conservation Fund. The Great American Outdoors Act is funding numerous projects that will have a lasting impact on conservation and enjoyment of parks and public lands.
