Plastic Shark, doo-doo, doo-doo… This week, capecodnps, the Center for Coastal Studies, and funding partner NOAA Marine Debris unveiled an Atlantic white shark made entirely of marine debris found on beaches at Cape Cod National Seashore. Created by artist Cindy Pease Roe, this jaw-some exhibit is designed to raise awareness of marine debris in oceans and waterways and educate visitors how to make small changes to reduce their impact on the environment. The sculpture is located at Herring Cove Beach in Provincetown.
