“Suppose it is pretty interesting…for an insect.” - Blackbeard
Sometimes taking the time to notice the little things in nature really pay dividends. Great, we found a bug, cheers. Not just any bug. The Rosy Maple Moth is the smallest of the silk moths. They're distinguishable by their yellow and pink coloration of varying intensity. On Wednesdays (and every day) they wear pink (and yellow)! Their preferred host trees are sugar, red, and silver maples. Hence the name Rosy Maple Moth. It’s all coming together now.
