Maybe you are. Signs of spring are everywhere lately, and these alpine jelly cone mushrooms (Guepiniopsis alpina) at Glacier Bay are a good sign of warming days to come. Also known as the jelly cup, alpine jelly cone, or poor man's gumdrop, this species of fungus is known for its small fruit bodies that are usually bright yellow or orange. They have a gelatinous texture and a smooth and sticky surface on top.
