Spring has sprung! In the Northern Hemisphere, the March equinox (aka spring equinox or vernal equinox) occurs when the Sun crosses the equator line, heading north. This event marks the start of spring in the northern half of the globe. It’s a season of renewal and change, a time of rebirth often bringing warmer temperatures, new life, and splashes of color all across nature. Though it may not feel or look like spring in all the parks quite yet, it’s never too early to start planning your next park adventure or finding a place to venture outdoors.
