My favorite part of winter is watching it on TV from Arizona.
Wait? Who changed the channel? Even in the Sonoran Desert, Saguaro National Park can be a snowy place. (Talk about some cold pricklies.) A snowstorm can be good for the Desert; as the snow melts it is able to percolate into the ground much more so than the heavy monsoon rains (which come quickly and leave quickly due to the hard soils).
