When #SuperbOwl is trending and you feel appreciated…🦉 Hooooooo me?! This northern owl found in many parks resembles a hawk in appearance and behavior. Its oval body, yellow eyes, and round face enclosed by dark parentheses are distinctly owl, but its long tail and habit of perching atop solitary trees and hunting by daylight are reminiscent of a hawk. So what do they call it? How about Northern Hawk Owl? Done. This owl can also be identified by brown feathers above with white spots and brown horizontal stripes across their underpants, sorry, underparts. They also have pretty good eyesight, and can detect sarcasm (and prey) up to half a mile away. Cool. That is owl. Image: Talk to the claw!
