I’m frosty and I snow it. ⛄️ The daylight hours are getting shorter, but the possibilities are endless to enjoy national parks in the winter season. Winter is the perfect time for some creatures to hibernate (Done. Been there since November) and adventurers to explore a magical season in national parks. Don’t like snow? We’ve got parks for that. But the serenity (Serenity now!) of fresh powder sprinkled over pine trees, the silence of the winter air, and the utter enchantment that comes with the holiday season are just a few of the wonders of winter in many parks. Averaging more than 40 feet of snow each season, @craterlakenps is the perfect spot for all snow adventures. Where else can you walk in snow 20 feet deep? Fun. But let’s not go all “I’m gonna chase my family during a blizzard in an outdoor maze without wearing proper layers.” Be a shining example and bring a jacket.
