When the Visitor Center just closed but you need to get your passport stamp… Let me in! Fun fact, wild turkeys are avid park stamp collectors. Groups of up to 30 birds have been spotted around Arizona’s Chiricahua National Monument. The turkeys we see here are Gould’s, the largest subspecies of Wild Turkey. When they see their reflection, they can mistake it for a rival bird and try to pick a fight. Hey! No need for fowl language. Always remember, your chances of being taken down by a turkey are low, but never zero. Gobble! Gobble! 🏃🏻🦃 NPS Video: Wild Turkeys gobbling and tapping on a glass door at @chiricahuanps #wildturkey #turkeytrip #stamp #parkpassport #closing #birding #arizona
