The Great American Outdoors Act was signed on August 4, 2020. To mark that day, the fee free day falls on a Thursday. Weekend would have been better? It’s on Thursday. ❓Are all parks free? Any parks that collect an NPS entrance fee will waive those fees. For parks that require reservations or timed-entry, they are still required.
