They say distance makes the heart grow fonder. Distance also keeps you grounded. (Like on the actual ground.) So remember, when it comes to being around wildlife, long distance = #RelationshipGoals. ❤️ 🦬 You know me so well! Did you know you can judge a bison’s mood by its tail? (Someone’s moody today.) When the tail hangs down and switches (swishes?) naturally, the bison is usually calm. If the tail is standing straight up, watch out! A confrontation may be brewing. No matter what a bison’s tail is doing, remember that wild animals can be unpredictable. Always be aware of your surroundings, especially if any animal moves toward you. (They’re probably not coming to ask for directions.) 🦬 I just need more space. Space is good. Always give animals room and use your zoom. Remember, bison may be big, but they’re also fast.
