@blackcanyonnps, discover the stories of some of the park’s most photogenic subjects. Volunteers lead wildflower walks every Thursday morning at 9 am through June.
(Speaking of flowers, please don't pick the wildflowers! Much better to go home with new knowledge - it will last longer, and there is always more knowledge for others to enjoy too.)
This program isn't the only opportunity to discover -- Black Canyon's rangers offer talks on everything from fossils to fairy shrimp, water to wilderness, owls to howls (howls of coyotes, that is). And of course, geology every day! Program times are listed on the park website.
