Oh. Shake it off! Why do furry animals shake when wet? Umm, to get dry. Done. Have a good one.
Oh, you’re still here? Alright, shaking when wet is a commonality among many furry mammals. Through shaking, about 70% of the water trapped in an animals fur can be removed in just few seconds. (Wow! Owen Wilson style.)
Larger animals, like a bear, don’t need to shake as vigorously to get their skin whipping fast, but hey, why not take the awkward route for all the humans taking pictures. I whip my ‘bear’ back in forth….
