Float like a butterfly, ‘stink’ like a...spotted skunk? 🦨 What a nice night to walk down a trail. Oh, hey Mr. Skunk. Dance off? You first, bro. Oh wait, I misread the situation. What's happening!?! What's that smell? If you come upon a Spotted skunk, it's usually polite enough to give warning before they spray a noxious liquid on any potential aggressors: they stamp their front feet, raise their tail, hiss, and if they’re particularly annoyed, stand upright on their forelimbs and perform an unusual hand-stand dance. If the dancing handstand fails to intimidate (wow, nothing?), they will resort to its real weapons: a pair of scent glands out back that will spray a foul-smelling musk. If a local fart squirrel does approach you, calmly turn around and walk away. Avoid doing anything else that could be considered threatening. Yelling “smell ya later” is not helpful. Video: So stinkin’ cute! This classic spotted skunk video was captured at Saguaro National Park, Arizona. #TheMoreYou...
