They will most likely remain in their dens throughout March. When they do emerge in late Spring, they’ll be thinner and ready to kickstart a more active lifestyle. Not so fast! They may need a few weeks to shift their physiology from one of rest and energy conservation to fully alert and ready to meet the demands of a new year.
