Walking along the eastern portion of the Tower Trail at devilstowernps will give you a view of a seemingly indented side of the Tower, called the Window. Can you spot it in this photo?
Spanning roughly 300 feet tall, the Window is one of the Tower's most distinct features. The Window is an example of an erosional feature of the Tower. Over time, an outer layer of large pillars cracked and tumbled down the side of the Tower, exposing further pillars that were hidden underneath.
