You really autumn know... There's still time to check out fall foliage in many parks. Forests, woods, and shrublands turn a magnificent array of colors each year depending on the climate and conditions. Whether you’re “leaf peeping” in a car or taking a stroll, remember to recreate responsibly for a fun, safe trip. If driving, don’t be afraid to pull over. You’ll get way more out of your leaf-peeping experience if you are willing to pull over on the side of the road and take in the color. Also, dress in layers. Depending on what park you’re visiting, leaf peeping season can be chilly! Image: A maple tree stands in the Charlestown Navy Yard, in front of a hedge. The tree's leaves are yellow and orange, and the sun is illuminating the leaves from behind. NPS/J. Veo boston_nhp #CharlestownNavyYard #FallFoliage #FindYourPark #EncuentraTuParque #boston
