Aren’t the colors of fall just beautiful…aaannnd it’s snow.⁣ ⁣ Today at the Grand Canyon, snow and fog made for a cozy cabin day on the North Rim. A worthwhile trip for those who enjoy the road less traveled, the North Rim, or "other side" of @grandcanyonnps, is visited by only 10% of all Grand Canyon visitors. It forms the edge of the Kaibab Plateau, with elevation ranging from 8,000-8,800 feet above sea level.⁣ ⁣ The North Rim Season (full services) is between May 15 and October 15, each year. Both lodge and campground are open. Between October 15 and October 31, the North Rim is open for Day Use Only - unless you have a reservation to camp overnight in the North Rim Campground.
