Bigger than your average housecat, bobcats (Lynx rufus) roam throughout Nevada’s Great Basin National Park. Named after their short & stubby ‘bobbed’ tails, bobcats are some of the smaller carnivores in the park, but they’re widely known for their adaptability, smarts, and ferociousness.
P.S. Not all bobcats are named Bob. Some prefer Robert.
