This bison doesn’t look too excited, but it’s only Wednesday. Seeing a bison in person can be an amazing experience. But do be careful. They are big, can run pretty fast, and don’t mind taking you down a few pegs.
What may attract a bison to you? Bison are attracted to areas with protein-rich vegetation, tall grasses, and fear. Just kidding, it’s mainly the greens. Perhaps, you should avoid standing in their grass buffet.
Sometimes, you may be extremely careful, meticulously follow all regulations and bison safety tips, yet still come across a bison. If they don’t move, it's you who should back away. No shame. You know your abilities. Walk away so you can walk away from another animal on another day.
If a bison does start to head your way, secure the pants, back away slowly and don’t run or make sudden movements.
