terroirboise arrived to 8th Street in Downtown Boise last month, and the entire city seems to be celebrating. I know I am. Terroir Bistro is the next installment from culinary duo Nathan Whitley (a James Beard nominee) and Remi Courcenet (hailing from Burgundy, France). Their permanent home is settled in one of the most charming spots to watch the city stroll by. After both men lost their jobs in the pandemic, they came together to offer the Treasure Valley something new. Terroir Bistro, is a brick-and-mortar expansion of Terroir food trailer and supper clubs, both which have been wildly popular. Terrior symbolizes “A Sense of Place” and offers a seasonal menu showcasing the best of Idaho and beyond. It reflects both founder’s food philosophy, sourcing local and seasonal ingredients from farms around the Treasure Valley and the NW.
