The West Coast Trail on Canada’s Vancouver Island is a super fun mix of old growth rainforest and pristine beaches, at times super chill and at others a series of ladders, cable cars, mud pits, suspension bridges, and slippery boardwalks. This 50ish-mile trail is definitely one of the most fun I’ve been on, and for sure keeps you guessing. thathikergirl and I saw at least four bald eagles, watched a pod of Orcas from our campsite, spotted gray whales spouting water up from their blow holes, and watched sea lions socialize on a rock shelf. Yesterday, I looked directly into the eyes of a (very cute) black bear. 🐻 What an excellent adventure!! 🌟 Thanks for the hospitality, Canada! 🇨🇦 I will definitely be back. ☺️
