Conservative groups have created what they call Project 2025, a set of policies they want former Republican President Donald Trump to pursue if he is reelected. One of the proposals is an overhaul of the Justice Department, including the FBI. Asked about this at a congressional hearing Wednesday, FBI Director Christopher Wray stressed the agency needs to be independent as it does its work.
