Emmett Till was born #OTD in 1941. He was killed at 14, while visiting family in #Mississippi. His mother bravely insisted that his image be shared with the world after his brutal murder. This act sparked the civil rights movement, which continues today. Black youth like Tamir Rice, Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown continue to die unjustly.
