According to a survey by @TulchinResearch, 41% of Georgians learned about the Civil War from history books, 25% learned from digital resources and 14% from historical authorities. Not one Georgian in our survey learned about the Civil War from Confederate monuments. Zero. More than 2,000 memorials in the United States valorize the Confederacy, which waged war to preserve white supremacy and the enslavement of millions of people.
