It’s been a May we won’t soon forget, full of celebrations, excitement—and a slight change or two. We kicked off the month honoring the many amazing nurses who serve our system. We followed that by celebrating team members across the organization as part of ECU Health Week. Not to mention we began the evolution to ECU Health; showcased the great work by our behavioral health, lab, occupational therapy, stroke, trauma teams and others; picked up an award at a state nursing conference; threw out the first pitch at an ECU baseball game and unveiled the first ECU Health EastCare ambulance. None of it would be possible without the people of ECU Health who make us who we are—and the support of the communities we serve. #InGratitude #ECUHealthProud
