Georgia's #CobbCounty Schools District asked, and the parents responded overwhelmingly: 79% of parents surveyed want the opportunity to choose if their child is tested and protected while at school. Back in October, we sued the district on behalf of 4 students with disabilities and their parents because they have been denied access to a safe, in-person learning environment. The case is currently on appeal, and our clients still cannot return to school in person. With the omicron variant emerging and COVID-19 numbers increasing in Cobb County, the district should use tonight's school board meeting as an opportunity to listen to the community and immediately implement multi-layered mitigation strategies to protect its students. #MaskUpGA #ProtectOutStudents #ChildrensRights #COVID19 #Georgia
