The ongoing response to COVID-19 continues to require tremendous partnership and collaboration across our health system – and innovative approaches to managing the many, many needs of the community we serve. One of those needs—testing. And we couldn’t be more proud of Vidant team members Wendy Bishop, MLS (ASCP) and Kara Compliment, MLS (ASCP) and their leadership in setting up numerous COVID-19 testing methodologies over the past many months. To date Vidant laboratories have performed more than 850,000 COVID-19 PCR tests. Wendy and Kara represent the many, many team members who work in—or in support of—Vidant labs each day.
