To celebrate nurses across Vidant Health, we are launching a series titled, “Nurses of Vidant”. Each story will be unique and capture conversations with Vidant Nurses as they share personal moments and why they chose a career in Nursing. Join us this week as Michelle Kelley BSN, RN, CRRN, Rehabilitation Medicine Nurse at Vidant Medical Center, shares her story. “No one in my immediate family growing up was in the medical field. I just knew I wanted to help people. My mom always taught me that you need a career that can provide for your family, a career with job security. The Rehab center is like no other. I’m always learning something new. We see a variety of patients--sometimes challenging ones but you learn a lot. Vidant Health is really great about growing their own!
