The Olympics may be over, but we’re still celebrating the incredible athletes with a Curator's Pick from Connie H. Choi, Associate Curator of the Studio Museum’s permanent collection: Henry Taylor's painting "how i got over" (2011), featuring the high jumper Alice Coachman, who, in 1948 became the first Black woman to win an Olympic gold medal.
