Volunteers make a real difference here at Vidant Medical Center. Each day they help deliver the high quality, compassionate care that patients and their families deserve. Some volunteers work directly with patients, while others do administrative work, such as filing, typing or answering telephones. Then there are others who volunteer time as lab assistants or nursing aids. Vidant Medical Center works hard to match your interests with the right volunteer position just for you. Our volunteers range from retired residents who want to contribute years of knowledge and valuable work experience, to young people who want to get a head start on a rewarding career through our VolunTEEN program.
