We are excited to share that six more outstanding nurses have been recognized as DAISY award winners!
Each quarter, six extraordinary nurses are selected to receive
#DAISYAwards by a committee composed of
#VidantMedicalCenter nursing leaders and peers. The international award is administered by the non-profit DAISY Foundation, established in memory of J. Patrick Barnes, who died at the age of 33 from an autoimmune disorder. The care he and his family received from nurses inspired this unique means of thanking nurses for making a profound difference in the lives of their patients and patient families.
Our 2016 second quarter winners are:
Melanie Porter, RN - PCC
Brooks Braswell, RN - 3 East
Paul Johnson, RN - MICU
Matt Alligood, RN – CIU
Sam Archino, RN - CED
Keisha Miller, RN - OBS
