We are building the future of critical care in the Hudson Valley. Today, state and local officials joined us to celebrate the start of construction for the $220 million Critical Care Tower at Westchester Medical Center. Among the community stakeholders at this landmark event were Lt. Governor Antonio Delgado, DASNY President and CEO Robert Rodriguez, New York State Assembly Health Chair Amy Paulin, and Westchester County Executive George Latimer.
The Critical Care Tower, now under construction, will feature 128 private, state-of-the-art patient rooms equipped with advanced medical technologies for intensive care. This new facility will enable Westchester Medical Center to convert all inpatient services to private rooms and expand services such as pediatric emergency medicine and women’s health. Completion is expected in 2026.
Many thanks to the Westchester County Local Development Corporation for supporting our Critical Care Tower project!
