located next to Garage, Comedor is one of my favorite spots for happy hour. the space itself is stunning, with a beautiful bar, gorgeous patio, and a sexy/moody interor space. arguably the best dish on the HH menu is the bone marrow tacos (whose recipe has not changed in 5 years, according to our waiter), but they offer a few other dishes that are just as tasty. we ordered a few tacos and their avocado tostada, and the salsas that were included were so fresh and delicious that we ended up asking for extra tostada shells to eat them with. drink wise, their house margarita and martini are the specials along with some beers and wines. prefer mocktails? they’ve got you covered with 4 on both the HH and regular menus! one thing to note - HH is from 5-6pm at the bar and communal tables only, so make sure you plan for downtown traffic! #austinhappyhour #austintexas #atxlifestyle
