Junior Courteney Barnes also had an opportunity to go to Africa this summer, but to Zambia instead of Uganda. Here is what she shared: “This trip was easily the greatest two weeks of my life. My faith took strides that I never knew were possible. God’s love was so present in Choma, Zambia and it was incredible to see Him shine through our SEED team and the Poetice staff. He proved that He is everywhere and that His love is unending in every situation. I will cherish the moments with the kids from our sports camps, the families that came to church, and all people I came in contact with for the rest of my life. Hands down best part of the trip was going out to the community of Mwapona and bringing water filters to peoples homes. Those moments were so amazing and unforgettable!” #thehopedifference #gohope
