Kaleidos is the portable nuclear microreactor from Radiant designed to replace diesel generators. It offers a compact and mass-producible solution for remote villages, hospitals, data centers, and military installations, providing up to 1.2MW of electric power and 1.9MW of thermal power for heating or desalination. No on-site water is required thanks to its air-cooling system. Helium gas transfers heat from the core, minimizing radioactive leak risks, and its accident tolerant TRISO fuel further guarantees safety. Kaleidos units will be factory-assembled, fueled, and tested for easy deployment, achieving full power the day after delivery. The reactor has 110 times the energy density of diesel systems and can be refueled up to four times for a 20-year lifespan.
