#SummerXMoody: Dallas native Kyla Simmons is working as a utexasrtf Summer Camp Assistant, allowing her to teach filmmaking skills to students ages 6 to 18. “I am helping out because I love filmmaking, and I want to share my knowledge from film school to help young creatives and filmmakers learn the world of cinema.” Kyla absolutely loves her experience working alongside camp director Elana Wakeman. She helps with all aspects of the camp, including creating attendance rosters, checking students in and out, and assisting grad students with film shoots and media camps.
