Saddle bronc rider Brody Wells gets long-awaited rematch in win at Utah Days of ’47 Rodeo. The first time Brody Wells matched up with Sankey Pro Rodeo & Phenom Genetics' saddle bronc horse The Black Tie, anticipation got the best of the young rider. Known as one of the best bucking horses in ProRodeo, Black Tie has a reputation for big rides that generally produce winning results. Wells knew that when he paired with the animal at Battle Born Broncs in Fallon, Nev., back in June 2023. The build-up caused him to falter, even if only for a moment. "I've visualized that ride so many times on my spur board since I bought my permit. I got on him one time before and was just a little too nervous," Wells said, noting he dropped his rein while he should have been picking up at one moment during the ride. "When a guy has that one, you want to be 90-plus. It's going to give you every shot to be 90 and you better capitalize on it." Read more here >>> bit.ly/46sakrp
