Today, we celebrate the 34th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)! 🎉 Signed into law on July 26, 1990, the ADA has been a cornerstone of disability rights and advocacy. Disability Pride began in the United States to honor this historic legislation, with the first Disability Pride Day held in Boston in 1990. In July 2015, we marked the 25th anniversary of the ADA with the inaugural Disability Pride Month.
