Sarah completed an in-person internship with the Southern Regional Extension Forestry in Athens, GA!  ​ "​I've learned that while remote work is great, working in-person allows us to connect better with our peers and learn more. It's hard to have shared experiences over Zoom." ​ ​This experience provided more than the thought possible! "I'm writing for a professional audience - I never saw myself writing professionally but now I'm looking at science communication graduate programs because this experience has been such a confidence boost." ​Her advice for peers? ➡️ "Put yourself out there, even if you're not entirely certainly of the opportunity!
