Taylor completed an in-person experience with cdcgov and georgiadph!  ​ ​Here's what she had to say about her experience: “My work was focused on studying the populations of ticks throughout northeast Georgia. We tracked local tick populations to learn about the potential for tick-borne disease spread within the state. I learned how to properly survey sights for vectors of disease. I also learned how to run pathogen tests on samples we collected in the field." ​ We love that she gained experiences that she never thought would be possible! "​I have always wanted to be a research scientist, and I never thought I would have been able to get started on my career this early into my college education.
