"Getting to work hands on with the front and back ends of manufacturing allowed me to understand how each person plays an individualized role in creating a product that we may encounter in our everyday lives (in my case, carpet). Being an environmental engineering major, I never understood how much data went into regulating processes on the manufacturing line. But, as a Continuous Improvements Intern, I interacted with data every single day. Not only was I able to see the quantitative side of the process, I was also involved in with quality engineering which is directly reflected in the data that I interact with."
Her advice for peers? ➡️ "As an environmental engineering major, I thought that I would be working with natural resources or water quality. But, I am extremely thankful to be able to try something differen...
