Meet Giulia Carlton & Macy McKinley, both junior ugagrady Advertising Majors and our first #PAWsitivePivots feature. 🐾 ​- Their PLANS ➡️ Giulia was heading to Spain for a UGA study abroad program ✈️ and Macy was planning to attend the “Summer @ the Circus” advertising program through Grady + the Creative Circus. 🎪 ​- What CHANGED? 😞 It became unsafe to travel abroad or have large gatherings because of COVID-19. Both of our programs were canceled, and finding a different safe, remote opportunity was very difficult. We felt really stuck. ​- How did you PIVOT? ↪️ As advertising students pursuing careers in Creative, we decided to use this summer as an opportunity to run with all the creative ideas that usually get pushed aside, such as our dream of starting a podcast together! We immediately started brainstorming topics, designing cover art, and learning the programs + software necessary. It has been about a month, and we have four episodes out, an Instagram page, and a supportive base...
