GEN | (NEWS) Susquehanna Athletics is overjoyed to announce our nominee for the 2024 NCAA Woman of the Year: Katie Bucher! Bucher had a standout senior season, earning NFHCA All-Region honors for the first time in her career. A two-time All-Landmark selection, she posted career highs with six goals and five assists, finishing second on the team in both categories. Bucher played in all 20 of Susquehanna’s games in 2023, helping the River Hawks secure their first league title since 2018. In the classroom, Bucher was an eight-time Dean’s List honoree at Susquehanna University and a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta and Chi Alpha Sigma honor societies. She was named to the Landmark Academic Honor Roll and the NFHCA All-Academic Team from 2022 to 2024.
