According to the indictment file, Goonan was indicted on two counts of property damage and destruction via fire and/or explosive and one count of possession of an unregistered firearm. The two counts of property damage and destruction can amount to anywhere from 5 to 20 years in prison whereas the count of possession of an unregistered firearm can amount to a maximum of 10 years in prison.
According to their lawyer Jeff Wozniak, Goonan has maintained their original defense of not guilty.
The indictment comes nearly a month after a federal complaint and a supporting affidavit by FBI Special Agent Tiffany Speirs detailing allegations against Goonan was filed in U.S. District Court.
